State Senator Heather Cloud – District 28
District 28 includes Acadia, Allen, Avoyelles, Evangeline, and St. Landry Parishes.
Heather Cloud was elected in October 2019.
Heather served as mayor of Turkey Creek, in Evangeline Parish, for eight years from 2011 to 2019.
A small businesswoman, Heather owns a trucking company with her husband Jody Cloud.
She started her career as an elementary school teacher.
